12/19/2003 — Bay Title and Escrow is officially formed. Founded by Evan Grimm with the goal of creating a title agency that could offer a better closing experience for both the real estate consumer and the real estate professional.

09/17/2004 – Bay Title and Escrow Company becomes an appointed agent of Commonwealth Land Title, joining the LandAmerica family of underwriters.

02/08/2005 – Bay Title and Escrow Company is awarded the Outstanding Service Award for the Florida region by Exclusive Metro Mortgage of Atlanta.

06/08/2005 – Bay Title and Escrow Company joins the LandAmerica OneStop team, enabling it to handle closings for its national clients in over 40 states.

12/10/2005 – Bay Title and Escrow Company becomes licensed in Illinois and an appointed agent of Lawyers Title, bringing its high level of service to its clients on their Illinois transactions.

03/07/2006 – Bay Title is proud to announce its creation of a reverse mortgage team, thus allowing its clients to close these complex transactions in states across the nation.

11/09/2007 – Bay Title expands its Default Services and REO Teams to handle the increasing volume of bank-owned properties, thus enabling it to better service the needs of its national mortgage servicer and asset manager clients.

12/2007 – Bay Title joins the REO Trans (now Equator) network, enabling it to receive and process orders through this comprehensive workstation with robust tools to receive, process and deliver products and services electronically.

03/10/2008 – Bay Title announces the creation of its auction team and begins work with the Real Estate Disposition Corporation to facilitate a large number of auctioned bank-owned properties sold by various lenders.

06/2008 – Bay Title partners with the software provider RES.NET. RES.NET is a state-of-the-art software solution with exclusive technology that gives asset managers the tools needed to best manage property portfolios from pre-foreclosure to REO.

08/01/2008 – Bay Title switches to a robust software platform to increase internal closing efficiencies. This enables Bay to better service its clients and allows for detailed, data-driven reporting that grants clients increased insight into the closing process.

09/19/2008 – Bay Title and Escrow Company becomes an appointed agent of Westcor Land Title.

01/10/2009 – Bay Title is proud to announce a work-share agreement with ET Transaction Group, allowing it to consult and work with ET’s title agencies in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, and Colorado on their mutual REO and Auction clients.

04/06/2009 – Bay Title becomes an appointed agent of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.

04/2009 – Bay Title begins work on Arizona REO auctions with Empire West Title of Phoenix, part of the ET Transaction Group.

07/2009 – Bay Title begins work on Colorado REO auctions with Colorado Escrow of Denver, part of the ET Transaction Group.­

09/2009 – Bay Title begins work on Utah REO auctions with Colorado Escrow, part of the ET Transaction Group.

11/06/2009 – Bay Title becomes an appointed agent of First American Title Insurance Company.

05/22/2010 – Bay Title is an Official Sponsor of the Gulf Coast Stand up Paddleboard Championship.

07/02/2010 – Bay Title begins work with the Moving Hearts Foundation.

01/19/2011 – Bay Title becomes an appointed agent of Fidelity National Title.
