Evan Grimm, President

Evan Grimm is the president and founder of Bay National Title Company (formerly Bay Title and Escrow.) He began Bay Title in 2003, with the goal of creating a title insurance agency that could provide the best in client service to all of its many partners from throughout the real estate services industry.

This vision grew out of his experience managing a national finance firm as well as his experience at a large law firm specializing in real estate closings and title insurance. Bay Title’s many satisfied client testimonials demonstrate that Mr. Grimm has succeeded in this vision for his title insurance agency. Bay National Title Company believes strongly in the importance of providing a superior closing experience for all of its clients, and all of Bay Title’s employees are truly passionate about this process.

In addition to running Bay National Title, Mr. Grimm is involved with two charitable organizations, Moving Hearts and Homes for Our Troops. He recently produced a film about Moving Hearts while summiting a mountain in Africa with the subjects of his film.

Beyond his title insurance agency work and philanthropic activities, Mr. Grimm enjoys spending time with Nico the Title Dog, traveling, sailing, mountain biking, rock climbing and yoga.

 

Tina O’Connor, Executive Vice President

Tina O’ Connor serves as the Executive Vice President of Bay Title and Escrow Company’s Closing Division.

Mrs. O’Connor is responsible for maintaining Bay Title’s high standard of excellence in closing services, and insuring all underwriting guidelines are adhered to throughout the closing process. She is instrumental in the development and training of title agents and escrow officers.

Mrs. O’Connor has a proven executive management track record in the title insurance industry, with over ten years of experience.  During her career as an Escrow Officer, she has personally closed over 5,000 transactions, and she is able to use this extensive experience to implement best practices in Bay National Title’s closing procedures.

Prior to joining Bay National Title Company, Mrs. O’Connor served as the managing partner and Operations Manager at Title Marketplace of Clearwater, Florida.  She is a licensed title agent and realtor.

Additionally, Mrs. O’Connor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, where she graduated Cum Laude. Mrs. O’Connor has been listed in the Who’s Who Among Student Colleges directory, as well as the Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women. She is also fluent in Greek. Mrs. O’Connor is also excited to announce the birth of her first child, Aidan Christopher O’Connor.

 

Cheryl Cromer, Funding Manager

Mrs. Cheryl Cromer joined the Bay Title Management Team in 2008. Her primary role is managing the operations of the crucial funding and post closing departments. Her department is consistently recognized by clients for creating an exceptional closing experience. In addition to her title role, Mrs. Cromer leads her staff by example, and always steps in to do whatever is need for Bay Title clients in order to maintain our reputation for exceptional service.

Prior to joining Bay National Title Company, Mrs. Cromer proved a very successful manager at Safeguard Title Services and Universal First Title Inc. She got her start in the title business with Eagle Abstract in 2002. During her tenure there, she was involved in the closing of every type of Real Estate Transaction. She was also a key member of their management teams.  Prior to her work in the Title Insurance Industry, Mrs. Cromer was part of the management team at Sears and Roebuck for three decades, where she gained extensive management training and appreciation for the customer-centered focus of the retail sector.

Mrs. Cromer is licensed as a title agent and notary public in the state of Florida.

 

Jeremy Solomon, Business Process Director and Vendor Manager

Jeremy Solomon joins Bay Title after acquiring broad and deep knowledge of the title insurance industry through various leadership positions. He most recently served as the President of Criterion National Real Estate Solutions. His experience with business process outsourcing and management proved highly valuable to the growth of Criterion. Jeremy is a passionate business process management professional with a keen interest in helping companies increase efficiencies through the introduction of new technology, automation and outsourcing.

In his leadership role at Criterion, Jeremy brought to the table a wide spectrum of knowledge, training and experience in the title and mortgage industry including, but not limited to, operations management, business process development, software implementation, outsourcing, call center dynamics, quality assurance, vendor management, title reading, risk management, curative, and post production.

The genesis of Jeremy’s career was at one of the country’s high-volume. “tech-driven” settlement service providers. Over the span of four years, Jeremy managed the complete outsourcing process, eventually overseeing more than 10,000 units per month.  This included process optimization with a focus on scaling through the use of technology, outsourcing and automation.

Jeremy is excited to put his extensive experience to use at Bay Title, a world-class title agency with a strong emphasis on both customer service and business process development.
